On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Kering Foundation pursues its objective to raise awareness on violence against women by presenting, in a partnership with the store La Fnac, French committed actresses’ photographs at the Fnac des Ternes.
After listening several women’s testimonies, the director-photographer Carole Mathieu Castelli asked actresses to embody these emotions. Come to visit the exhibition A Travers Elles, from the 1st March to 15th of April. Portrays will be sold at an auction led by the auctioneer Candice Osenat, to the benefit of Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes, a French association fighting against domestic violence, a PPR Foundation’s partner since 2009.

On June 6, for the third consecutive year, the Dijon Fnac store organised the –now famous- Solidarity Fair. Books, CDs, DVDs and reflex cameras, sold at very low prices, attracted 1,100 visitors. The event, which is one of the major solidarity actions in Dijon, aims both at making easier the access to culture and new technologies and supporting the actions of the French association Secours Populaire to the benefits of the underprivileged families. €10,000 in 2008, €21,000 in 2009… this year €30,000 have been collected thanks to the mobilisation of the Fnac employees and the Secours Populaire volunteers! This amount will enable to offer 600 activities days this summer to the children who do not go on holidays. Congratulations and see you next year!
